Cantina Val di Suga - Tenimenti Angelini

The Val di Suga estate contains 120 hectares, of which 55 are cultivated with vines. The vineyards are situated on different sides of the Montalcino hill. The original, and larger area, surrounds the wine cellars and is on North-Eastern side, while on the South-Western side we find Vigna Spuntali, near Sant'Angelo in Colle. The recently planted vineyards are on the South-Eastern side, near the wonderful Abbey of Sant’Antimo.
The ability to use the grapes of three different areas allows Tenimenti Angelini, to produce very balanced and harmonious wines, year after year.
These wines have the reknown aging potential of Sangiovese Grosso but are also approachable when young.

Over the years, Tenimenti Angelini has identified the most suitable plots of land for the best expression of Sangiovese Grosso. The grapes produced in the Spuntali vineyard are carefully selected to produce a great cru of Brunello di Montalcino: Vigna Spuntali. The wine is aged in 300 liter barrels of French oak, which contribute to its power and elegance. After further bottle aging, this Tuscan gem is finally introduced on the market : a star representation of Tenimenti Angelini’s higher quality.
